RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY FOR KIDS CROWN POINT

Gentle Repairs for Growing Smiles

Despite everyone’s best efforts, childhood cavities are still relatively common. And, because they are both energetic and somewhat uncoordinated, it’s common for kids to trip, fall, and damage their teeth that way as well. If you bring your child to see us with a dental issue, you won’t get a lecture, but rather a sympathetic ear as well as an expert team ready to fix the problem. We are a judgment-free zone, so schedule your child’s reservation today if their smile needs a little TLC.

Dental Crowns

When a tooth has cracked, been worn down, or has a large cavity, we can fully restore its shape, appearance, and strength with a dental crown. In many cases, we’ll use a stainless steel crown, especially if a primary molar is being treated, since these are known for being able to withstand the test of time with kids and their chompers. Other times, we may be able to use a zirconia crown, which blends in seamlessly with the other teeth once placed due to its resilient white color, and allows your child to eat, speak, and show off their grin with confidence.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Cavities happen, but a tooth-colored filling can make them disappear in just one visit. After removing the decayed enamel, we simply fill in the space with a color-matched, BPA-free composite resin. The result is seamless, strong, and doesn’t cause temperature sensitivity like traditional metal fillings.
