When Should My Baby First Go to the Dentist’s Office?

What Happens During Baby’s First Dental Checkup

While your child sits in your lap, your pediatric dentist will marvel at their adorable cheeks while gently palpating along their gums. You’ll be invited to ask any and all questions you might have, and we’ll also walk you through how to clean their mouth after each feeding and offer tips so they can avoid “baby bottle tooth decay.”
